
Pictured here: The Wavyleaf Purple Coneflower (Echinacea simulata) and the yellow Missouri Primrose. Purple coneflower - Echinacea - is used in herbal medicine but the benefits have not been confirmed in scientific studies. I just like the way they look.

cool. finally able to locate from the link you provided. how long is the trail? maintained trail or overgrown?
Read about this in the paper some time back but unable to locate, only 10 miles from the house.

Halls hill pike east 6 miles from town, right on Factory road, 2 miles on your right. Trail is mostly maintained. Did get a few ticks on me where it wasn't
