'19 was a great year for boating... as I've shifted my home base to Sewanee, I'm spending most of my time in the TN River Gorge and did enjoy a trip to Fontana Lake, NC as well. The SeaRay 230 Weekender has run perfectly all season. Major additions include a new tow vehicle: a 2011 Toyota Sequoia. Also, a new vacuflush head. Here are some photos:
Fontana Lake, August... hiked to Shuckstack tower, and saw a bear swimming across the lake.

Closer to home, I made several trips to Chattanooga through the TN River Gorge, often stopping to bike up Raccoon Mountain, sometimes with my friend Bill, a high school buddy. Except for meetups on the bike with Bill, I did these trips solo. One trip I did on my birthday in July and biked up the mountain on the hottest day of the year. It was about 96ยบ. Some of my time, I spent in Chattanooga hanging out at Whole Foods or meeting up with Bill at a pub.

With the unlimited cellular plan, I can use my laptop to watch videos and surf the net. Hoping to enjoy more boating in 2020.
