Bravo/brava!

Am I correct in remembering that Piazzola was originally derided by the Tango "establishment" for his avant garde tango stylings?

I listen to your album of "Southern" music frequently and though I never really think about the names of the tunes, this one is always immediately recognizable.

I would never suggest that you do such a thing, but I have a friend who was a pretty good pianist and he did something that was quite fun. He played a bit of a Rachmaninoff piece that just happened to end on the same chord as "All the way to Memphis" by Mott the Hopple began on.

Having typed this I just realized that I may have missed a joke at the concert I saw you at a few years back in Binghamton. You played a piece of music which had been written by one of your colleagues(?) in the Murfreesboro area. You said it had a rather odd time signature and I, just now, am wondering whether you said it was "7/11". Prolly just my faulty memory.

Carry on, the music is invigorating and sublime.
