Iska and Lily at Lake O'Donnell.It's not officially winter yet but it sure feels like it. I'm glad I drove my SUV up the mountain this weekend. We got the Christmas tree up and went sledding with the kids. It's been really cold. I think it got up to 20º today and last night it snowed about 5 inches. The wind was howling and windchills were around 0º.
Didn't stop me from running 7 miles (in shorts) though! I really do like running in the cold.
Just returned from a walk to Lake O'Donnell. Time to stoke up the fire.Back to splitting wood, tea, guitar and apple pastry.

I'm unclear on whether it's that cold and snowy in them thar hills or at your home. It's been sorta moderately shitty here in Oswego. Syracuse got clobbered with about 4 feet of snow last week, we got about 8-10 inches. Right now it's about 17 and snowing, but hey, winter will be here soon enough!
Most schools here were closed for 2 days, may be again tomorrow since freezing rain is forecast. Got down to 2º in some parts of Middle TN. Murfreesboro made it to the single numbers.
